North takes her first steps

The only thing to distract us from a Kim Kardashian double denim fashion nightmare is the sight of little North learning to walk.

Kim's adorable daughter took some of her first steps on the streets of La Jolla, California on Wednesday.

We actually think little North is looking more and more like daddy Kanye West as each day passes and she certainly had swagger as she put one tiny foot in front of the other and tried to walk along the pavement. Of course, she might have been struggling to stay upright, she is still learning.

North West holds on tight to Kim's hand

Kim, 33, and North were strolling down the street with grandma Kris Jenner who pushed North's pram and kept a low profile as she let her daughter and granddaughter take the lead.

We're really not sure what Kim was thinking when she picked out this figure-hugging ripped denim skirt and matching chambray shirt, which she tucked in around her waist. The outfit did nothing for her curvy figure, and we've never been a fan of double denim.

She completed her disastrous look with a pair of nude high-heels and wore her long glossy dark hair down around her shoulders, adding black shades and plenty of jewellery.

Little Nori is learning fast

But we thought Nori, who is now 14 months old, looked so sweet in her little denim jeans with small rips up the legs, a white vest top and black trainers as she held on tight to Kim's hand.

She also had her dark hair slicked back in a stylish 'do and wore sparkling diamond studs. Showing everyone it's not just daddy who can do bling.

Kim recently told E! News that Nori is learning fast when it comes to walking, she said: "If we're outside on the grass, it's like a full marathon. She'll run - she'll do whatever. Inside, she's just a little more cautious. She wants you to hold her hand, or she has this little shopping cart that she likes to walk around."

She'll be strutting down Melrose Avenue in no time with Kanye's credit card
