Manchester City are finally set to move into their £200million state-of-the-art training base.
The 80-acre site has been in the works for several years but will see Manuel Pellegrini and the first-team players move in during the international break next month.
The facility boasts a 7,000-capacity stadium and 17 training pitches with on-site accommodation.
Speaking at Soccerex, City's head of infrastructure development and corporate responsibility, Pete Bradshaw confirmed that the club had hoped to move in sooner but were delayed by poor weather in the summer of 2013.
"Last year we had one of the worst summers we have had with a lot of rain and that put everything back three months," he said.
"We hoped to catch that up. We haven't managed to do that, so we will take the international break in October to move the first team, the half-term break to move the academy and the rest of the staff will move a fortnight after that.
"We have worked very closely with the first-team coaches and manager to make sure it is not disruptive."
